In an emergency, the system provides passengers with maximum protection, as the seat belt tensioners, belt force limiters and intelligent airbag system react with exactly the right strength to minimise the force of an impact.
In a more serious accident, the electric-powered fuel pump is also disconnected automatically and the safety battery terminal is activated.
